Opportunities for agricultural investment in Myanmar By Juejan Tangtermthong

AFMA was the supporting organization of the Myanmar International Trade and Investment Summit (MITIS) which held at the Sedona Hotel in Yangon from 4-5 March 2013. Mr. Sein Win Hlaing, Chairman of AFMA was participating with AFMA Executive Director.

The meeting shared experiences on opportunities and challenges of the investment in Myanmar. Speakers were drawn from directors from several industries such as construction, transportation, hotel and tourism, real estate, agriculture and telecommunications. There were also informative sessions from government and private firms on the topic concerning with regulations, joint-venture agreement, finance and market access.
