Our programs suit for decision makers, entrepreneurs and operating supervisors who working on agricultural production, postharvest, extension or marketing. From 2007, we had organized more than ten study tours covering fresh produce supply chain, grain handling and storage, food security and sustainability of small farmer. We could organize the tour in any countries in Asia and Pacific such as China, Korea, Thailand, Philippine, Vietnam, Lao, Myanmar, India etc. We develop our own program, in charged by our own team and some will be in charged by experts depend on the subject. The regular program will be announced on the website, otherwise the program can be tailored.

The smallest group we usually organize is for five persons. The cost of each tour or each person will be giving by a proposal based on level of knowledge, domestic transportation, meals and time frame. Therefore, the cost does not include international flight and accommodation. However, we can help with arranging and booking hotel.

For benefit of the trainee, one day or few days trip to see shall be added into the program also we can arrange leisure activities for their free times. AFMA usually collaborate with training institute or university to use their facilities and room.

The training could be for small group of five persons or up to twenty to benefit for cost sharing and facilitating of trainees. The cost of a training course depends on facilities, equipment, number of lecturers and their experiences, meals, domestic transportation and additional trip. Therefore, the cost does not include international flight and accommodation same as the condition for organizing the study tour.

Workshop and seminar

AFMA organize at least one workshop a year. These workshops were organized with supporting from international donors or collaborating with international and national organizations. The topic has to be in the interests of members, involving in agricultural marketing and does not against objectives of the Association.
