AFMA is a professional in organizing agricultural marketing study tour to match your objectives, time and budget. We regularly organize study tour for governments and enterprises. We offer both tailored programs and our own developed programs, this also depends on the seasonal and convenience of the crops’ activities. Our programs suit for decision makers, entrepreneurs and operating supervisors who working on agricultural production, post-harvest, extension or marketing.
From 2007 onwards, we have organized many interesting study tours covering fresh produce supply chain, grain handling and storage, food security and sustainability of small farmer. Our area of study tour can be in any countries in Asia and Pacific.
The minimum person for each study tour is five persons. The cost will be varied depending on a proposal based on knowledge, domestic transportation, meals and time frame. The cost does not include international flight and accommodation; however, we can help with arranging and booking the tickets and hotel.

AFMA can provide you training courses on small scale food processing, post-harvest handling, agricultural branding and marketing. Our trainings usually collaborate with institute or university to use their facilities and space. For optimizing the benefits of the trainees, one or a few day’s field trip will be added into the program. If there is free time, leisure activities can also be arranged.
The cost of the training also depends on facilities, equipment, number of lecturers and their experiences, meals, domestic transportation and additional trip. For cost and facility sharing, the training can be set for small group of five or up to twenty persons. International flight and accommodations are not included in the training cost.

With supports from international donors and collaborating with international and national organizations, AFMA organize at least one workshop a quarter. The topic on agricultural marketing can be varied yet has to be in the interests of our members and does not against the objectives of the Association. Our workshops are rotated in many countries in the region in which we have members to host or help on coordinating matters such as China, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, The Philippines, etc.
We can set a workshop for ten to hundreds persons depending on budget and agreement. The cost of one workshop is estimated from numbers of speakers, participants, venue, type of room, interpreter (if need), materials, extra services and meals.

With our own manpower and the consultation of the experts, AFMA conducts project study that, while implementation, has impacts within the region and the output is not against the objective of the Association.
AFMA with support from FAO Regional Office has been studying many successful cases of small farmers in the region and is preparing the media to serve for extension purposes.
The Green Commerce Community System or “Grecocos” is a current project that we have been working on. The project is initiated by FAO to directly link to groups of consumers to individual or group of farmers. Service and supply are managing by AFMA.
